Best Far Cry game so far.

Reason for me writing this is because I bought Far cry primal few days ago and its so BOOORING.

In Far Cry 3 you play as Jason Brody, Silver spoon youngster who's skydiving trip with his friends goes bad. They land on pirate infested island, get captured to be ransomed and sold into slavery by Vaas. Vaas is sadist leader of a band of pirates. Jason barely manages to escapes and finds himself in the company of unexpected allies as he tries to find his friends and get off the island.

Far Cry 3 is an open world FPS with RPG elements set on a tropical island between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. A place where armed pirates traffic in slaves and outsiders are hunted for ransom.

Explore the huge island that offers wildlife, white sandy beaches, lush jungles, open grasslands and mountains. Customize your weapons, your skills and approach each mission in your own style, whether you like run and gun, stealth or sniping.
There are three skill trees, stealth takedowns and hunting skills, long-range takedowns and mobility skills and assault takedowns and health skills.
You can craft gun holsters, bigger wallets and bigger rucksacks to increase carrying capabilities of items, weapons, cash and ammunation.

The island is huge and can suck you in for hours just by taking outposts, roaming the map, doing side quests and chasing wildlife before going back again to the main story. There is so much to do, the main story is about 15 hours long but if you add all the exploring and side quests you are looking easily 30 hours of gameplay.

The reason why i chose Far cry 3 and not Far cry 4 is because Far Cry 4 feels like a copy of Far Cry 3 with a duller story and very few new ideas. Far Cry 3 Story is well made, characters are well thought out. You will get to know them and remember them. The main selling point is how much effort they made for the villain Vaas, he truly is psychotic sadist and his voice acting is perfect. He gives amazing depth to the game. Also you get to see how Jason must embrace the darkness and violence of the island to save his friends. The game also has two different endings and both are well done.

If by some chance you haven't played this game yet, you should give it a go.
